About Dorinda
Dorinda’s creative style and service can be best described in three words: spirited, personable and passionate. A professional seamstress and seminar teacher, Dorinda Kaigler received her Interior Designing and Custom Drapery Degree at Kimble School of Professional Sewing, establishing Dorinda’s Haute Couture Window & Bed Fashions in 1972 in the state of Michigan.
After receiving a state certification as a proprietary schoolteacher in 1985, she advanced to open and operate a school providing instruction in custom drapery and bed fashions. Additionally, while residing in Michigan, Dorinda owned and operated a drapery and bedspread showroom located in the Troy Michigan Design Center.
Working with Dorinda brings a natural energy to any home as you can often hear her saying “I am one of those people who can truly say they are happy here on this earth because I love what I’m doing!”

At Dorinda’s you will receive custom pieces and custom service as Dorinda Kaigler assists each client in defining what "haute couture" means for them.
Dorinda personally conducts all client consultations, creates all pieces, and assists with the instillation of all products.
Each piece is crafted by Dorinda’s with a great love for detail, fabric, character, and intimacy.
